Nair Systems is currently looking for Sales Coverage and Coverage Model - Business Analyst for our Qatar operations Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related discipline. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Banking, Business Analysis, Strategy, Transformation, Coverage, or Operating Model initiatives, preferably within a leading regional or international financial institution. - Experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, operating model design, and stakeholder management. - Exposure to Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, Transaction Banking, or Coverage environments is preferred. - Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analysis, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous. Required Special Skills: - Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English. - Good interpersonal and presentation skills. - Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations, and practices. - Ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives. - Personal integrity and self-management. - Planning, organising, and analytical ability. - Results oriented. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management. - Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering (BRS/BRDs), process mapping, user stories, operating model documentation, user story development, and stakeholder management. - Strong understanding of banking products, coverage models, client management frameworks, and wholesale banking data flows and architecture. - Proficiency in business analysis and collaboration tools such as Planview, JIRA, Visio, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization/reporting platforms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions A. Shareholder & Financial: - Support the achievement of revenue growth objectives by providing analysis and insights on client coverage effectiveness, wallet share opportunities, and cross-sell performance across business segments. - Develop and maintain coverage performance metrics, dashboards, and management reports that enable informed decision-making and optimization of the sales coverage model. - Contribute to the realization of transformation benefits by identifying process efficiencies, supporting operating model enhancements, and improving coverage productivity through data-driven recommendations. - Implements KPI’s and best practices for the Sales Coverage & Coverage Model Business Analyst role. - Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. - Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. - Demonstrate clear understanding of the important factors behind the bank's financial & non-financial performance. B. Customer (Internal & External): - Support business units in improving client coverage effectiveness by analysing customer portfolios, coverage allocation, client penetration, and cross-sell opportunities. - Act as a liaison between Coverage teams, Relationship Managers, Product partners, and subsidiary stakeholders to ensure business requirements and client needs are effectively addressed. - Support the development of coverage reporting, client analytics, and performance insights that enhance decision-making and improve customer engagement outcomes. - To assist customers in all their queries on Bank's products and seek solutions to their requests. - Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. - Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group's objectives. - Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required. C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Support the analysis, design, documentation, and optimization of coverage processes, operating models, governance frameworks, and client management practices across the Group. - Gather, document, validate, and maintain business requirements, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications to support coverage model transformation initiatives. - Ensure business requirements, process changes, and operating model recommendations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, risk standards, and approved governance frameworks. - Support data mapping, process analysis, KPI tracking, and management reporting activities to improve coverage effectiveness, client penetration, and cross-selling opportunities. - Collaborate with business, product, technology, data, and transformation teams to ensure successful implementation of coverage model enhancements and governance controls. D. Learning & Knowledge: - Continuously enhance knowledge of banking coverage models, business analysis methodologies, process improvement techniques, and wholesale banking products including GTB, GSF, GM, GAM, and FAM. - Develop expertise in business requirements management, process mapping, data analysis, operating model design, and transformation delivery tools and methodologies. - Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices related to coverage analytics, governance frameworks, client segmentation, data management, and business transformation initiatives. - Proactively identify areas for professional development of self and undertake development activities. - Seek out opportunities to remain current with all developments in the professional field. - Continuously build expertise in tools such as JIRA, Visio, Figma, data visualization platforms, and business analysis frameworks to enhance delivery effectiveness. E. Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities: - Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements including, but not limited to, Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing Policy). - Understand and effectively perform your role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify measure, monitor, manage and report risks. - Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy. - Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting and remediation, as appropriate, in accordance with the Operational Risk Management requirements. - Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role. - Complete all mandatory training provided by the Bank, attain, and maintain the required levels of competence. - Attend mandatory (internal and external) seminars as instructed by the Bank.
