We are seeking an experienced AMI (Automatic Metering Infrastructure) Engineer for a prestigious Kahramaa Water Meter Project in Doha, Qatar. 📌 Job Details: Position: AMI Engineer – Water Meter Project (Kahramaa Scope) Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Full-time / Project-based Experience Required: 3–5 years in smart water/energy metering or AMI/AMR projects 🛠 Role & Responsibilities: Installation, testing & commissioning of smart water meters. Integration with HES & MDMS systems Configure & manage Gateways / Data Concentration Units (DCUs) for reliable data collection Troubleshoot communication protocols: RF, GPRS, LoRa, NB-IoT Prepare technical reports, measurement sheets, and documentation Coordinate with teams, subcontractors & vendors Ensure compliance with safety, quality & regulatory standards 🎓 Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field Strong knowledge of AMI/AMR systems, gateways, DCUs, SCADA, GIS Hands-on experience with HES/MDMS integration Prior experience with Kahramaa or GCC utility projects is a plus Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving & communication skills Willingness to relocate (for international candidates) Mail id: [email protected]
