Electrician/ Industrial Electrical Technician

Industrial Electrical Technician | 8+ Years of Experience - Installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial electrical equipment. - Preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems. - Installation and maintenance of AC & DC motors, motor starters (DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starter), and VFDs. - Troubleshooting of electrical faults to minimize plant downtime. - Installation, testing, and maintenance of MCC panels, control panels, distribution panels, and power distribution systems. - Maintenance and operation of transformers, circuit breakers (MCB, MCCB, ACB, VCB), contactors, overload relays, and protection devices. - Cable laying, cable termination, cable glanding, panel wiring, and field wiring. - Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), control wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. - Electrical testing using multimeter, clamp meter, insulation resistance tester (Megger), and other electrical test instruments. - Inspection and maintenance of industrial lighting systems and electrical auxiliaries. - Participation in plant shutdown maintenance, equipment inspection, and commissioning activities. - Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. - Coordination with production, mechanical, instrumentation, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operation. - Compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures, including PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Work at Height, and Confined Space requirements. - Preparation of maintenance reports, job documentation, and daily work records. - Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, fault diagnosis, equipment reliability, and safe maintenance practices.
